Akili's 2012 Summary

So, in retrospect, this was not the year of the stained glass or rose windows, nor was it the year of the circle, nor even the year of the pony takeover. lol I'm not even sure I could say that I improved over the year, unless you knew that July's design was my first almost completely vectorized piece, and I continued to work with vectors for the rest of the year.

Also, I find it kind of sad that in October the best thing I did was a recolor. I guess that was just my 'off' month. But I'm proud that I was able to put something in every month slot. Last year I wasn't able to do that because I had terrible artist's block (aka paralyzing depression) toward the end of winter. And I had a very demanding summer job.
