I got one of Rose Art's "Color Blanks" Piggy Banks.
Here's what I came up with to "un-blank" the thing. I just got this really cool idea of a zipper at the opening where you put coins in, and I went from there. I used almost exclusively the markers that came in the package, except for a blue Sharpie. And I of course didn't use the stickers that it came with, because where's the fun in that?


One thing I've learned about symmetry in painting or coloring with permanent markers, is that sometimes, you don't have to even bother. And fully embrace Asymmetry. That's why this little guy is winking, to be honest. I didn't want to take the time and energy to make two perfect eyes. This was just a casual, fun project, so I said 'screw that' and made him wink instead. Cute, no? ;)
