This piece was by far the hardest in the series so far to finish. I had to turn screenshots into line arts for 80% of the characters here! (which took a lot of painstaking lasso tool, more layers then I can count, and a creative way of using the gradient tool, during which I had "True Love's Kiss" stuck in my head the whole time!!!! whew!)
I wanted to make this Awakening Station as over-the-top as possible, but the more details I added, the less you were able to see. I suppose the bright, warm colors will have to suffice.
So here we are, the Awakening Station in Kingdom Hearts for Giselle, the Spoof Princess! (But we love her anyway :P)

This is the last Stained Glass Awakening Station I will do until mid August. Sort of a farewell, as I will probably not have internet at all until then.

i like the elaborate design you did around the circles, it make the staine glass very lovely.

I wanted to emphasize the style of the movie. It was based on the works of Mucha, and since the stained glasses themselves are also originally inspired by art nouveau, I added as may art nouveau elements as I could. :)
